Ozark Yacht Club’s LakeSide Café is the perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious cuisine before a day of fun on the Lake. Established in 2009, the café serves as the hub of the yacht club and provides additional space for social gatherings. The LakeSide Café’s menu features a variety of unique offerings such as Torpedo Tacos, the Destroyer Burger, and much more. Guests can
enjoy a weekend brunch buffet with more than 40 items and handcrafted Bacon Bloody Marys while overlooking the water.
Among the many highlights of The LakeSide Café is the amazing view of Jennings Branch Cove, and on Saturdays you may be lucky enough to catch the Ozark Sailing Club racing by. The Ozark Yacht Club will also be unveiling the Mezzanine Room, a fine dining destination for late lunches and dinner, in Spring 2020. Shredded Pork Tacos with Sriracha Slaw
3 cups shredded red cabbage
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 cup sriracha sauce
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 pound shredded pork
1 package small corn or flour tortillas
1 cup hoisin sauce
Chopped fresh cilantro for garnishing
Sliced jalapeños for garnishing
Place red cabbage in a bowl. Whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, sesame oil, brown
sugar, sriracha and black pepper. Add some of the dressing to the cabbage and toss well. Taste and add more
dressing if desired.
Heat the shredded pork in a pan until hot, stirring frequently. Carefully char the tortillas over a gas flame using
tongs to flip them over. Place the tortillas flat on a plate. Spoon some of the red cabbage slaw onto the tortilla.
Place some shredded pork alongside the cabbage. Drizzle some of the hoisin sauce over the filling. Top the
taco with some chopped fresh cilantro and sliced jalapeños. Serve at once.
