September is Book Awareness Month, which inspired L•O PROFILE to feature some local authors in the VIP Spotlight. The legacy of developers, builders, business owners, and prominent individuals is thankfully recognized and preserved by Lake residents in several books. Photos from personal albums, reflections from family members, and meticulous research tell the story of the Lake’s beginnings through its tourism development in the 1940s – 1960s to present day.
