2025 LAKE OF THE OZARKS EAGLE DAYS took place on January 4, attracting nearly 1,000 attendees across four locations. The event featured new programs, including the World Bird Sanctuary’s raptor presentations at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where attendees saw species like the Harpy Eagle. At Christ the King Lutheran Church, Dickerson Park Zoo offered educational programs, along with vendors, contests, and activities. The coloring and photo contests were popular, drawing many entries. Viewing opportunities at Bagnell Dam were provided by Missouri Master Naturalists and Boy Scout Troops. Despite challenging weather, the event was a success, with many first-time attendees. Supported by over 50 businesses and organizations, the event celebrated the area’s natural beauty and economic value. The 2026 Eagle Days will be held on January 10.
