Light, flavorful, and rich in lean protein, the dish pairs a delicate parmesan-herb crust with bright notes of lemon for a meal that supports heart health without sacrificing comfort. Lightly Crusted Mediterranean Tilapia
- 6 pieces Tilapia
- Olive Oil
- Mrs. Dash Seasoning
- ½ Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tbsp. Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Italian Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Butter – melted
- Lemon and Parsley for garnish
Rinse the tilapia and lay on a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush each slice liberally with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with Mrs. Dash seasoning. Mix together the parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, and Italian breadcrumbs and sprinkle generously on each piece of tilapia. Top the breadcrumbs with melted butter. Bake the tilapia in a 350 degree oven for 12 – minutes until the fish has an internal temperature of 145 degrees. Garnish with a parsley and a lemon twist on each piece of tilapia.
