Her shining personality and stunning beauty create the perfect triple threat of being intelligent, talented, and glamorous.
2025 LAKE OF THE OZARKS EAGLE DAYS took place on January 4, attracting nearly 1,000 attendees across four locations. The event featured new programs, including the World Bird Sanctuary’s raptor presentations at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where attendees saw species like the Harpy Eagle. At Christ the King Lutheran Church, Dickerson Park Zoo offered educational programs, along with vendors, contests, and activities. The coloring and photo contests were popular, drawing many entries. Viewing opportunities at Bagnell Dam were provided by Missouri Master Naturalists and Boy Scout Troops. Despite challenging weather, the event was a success, with many first-time attendees. Supported by over 50 businesses and organizations, the event celebrated the area’s natural beauty and economic value. The 2026 Eagle Days will be held on January 10.

The new A&E series Ozark Law premiered on January 8, show- casing the hard work and dedication of the Osage Beach and Lake Ozark Police Departments. The 10-episode series, produced by Lucky 8, offers a behind-the-scenes look at how local law en- forcement handles the challenges of managing the huge influx of tourists during the busy summer months. The series is avail- able for streaming on the A&E app and aetv.com, and can also be viewed On Demand. Lake Ozark Police Chief James Boren praised the professionalism of the Lucky 8 crew, expressing satisfaction with the final product, which he believes accurately portrays the real challenges law enforcement faces at the Lake of the Ozarks during peak seasons.
In life, some people choose to avoid what can be difficult, different, or special, and then there are those extraordinary people who run toward it!
Osage Beach Police Sergeant Travis Morley is one of those extraordinary people. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and later Reed City, Michigan, where he graduated in 2003, he joined the U.S. Army and served in the 1st Infantry Division. His service took him to Ft. Benning,Georgia, Iraq, and two tours in Germany. When his time of service came to an end, he was left wondering where his skills and experiences from the past years could best be applied He landed in St. Louis, Missouri in 2006, where he attended the Police Academy. After graduating in 2007, his path led him to Lake of the Ozarks and a position on the Osage Beach Police Force. It was there that he found his next calling of service when he was introduced to the world of special needs and disabilities through the LETR (Law Enforcement Torch Run) and Special Olympics.
