Summer fashion at Lake of the Ozarks blends patriotic influences with casual style, showcased through Lake-ready looks photographed at several of the area’s waterfront destinations.
Mark Spears, managing partner of 1932 Reserve, took an unconventional path to becoming a prominent restaurateur at Lake of the Ozarks. Before opening 1932 Reserve, Sushi by R, and Driftwood Kitchen & Butcher, Spears honed his leadership skills as an All-American college soccer goalie, later playing professionally for the Kansas City Wizards, the Indiana Blast, and Derry City FC in Ireland.
OZARKS AMPHITHEATER wrapped its 2025 season with a stellar lineup running from May through September. The season featured a wide range of headliners, including world-famous comedian Nate Bargatze, as well as music sensations Dwight Yoakam & The Mavericks, Barenaked Ladies, Billy Currington, and Warren Zeiders. The Ozark Mountain Daredevils played a special farewell set with The Kentucky Headhunters. Other major acts included Trace Adkins, Aaron Lewis & The Stateliners, The Avett Brothers, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Kansas & 38 Special, Darius Rucker, Train, KC & the Sunshine Band with The Village People, and Upchurch & The Dixielanders also took the stage. The season closed with the Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional. With its diverse mix of country, rock, pop, and soul, Ozarks Amphitheater solidified its reputation as a premier summer concert destination.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. – The Missouri House of Representatives has passed HB 2670, known as “Marie’s Law,” a bipartisan initiative aimed at improving boating safety at Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Sponsored by Representative Dr. Lisa Thomas (R-District 123), the bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to install signage at designated state-owned boat ramps promoting responsible boating practices.
